Any details of raid on Newark would be appreciated. This may be the 1 fatality missing from the total on the ARP list although I'm still checking if Laxton ( only 8 mile cross country ) came under Newark ARP but being under Newarks police area I'm sure it would. Would I be right in thinking this would be more than likely a Heinkel 111 given the bomb load of 6 HE , 2 Oil bombs and incendiaries ? I take it the HE would be of the smaller size 50kgs to open up the RHP factory for the fire bombs to have best effects ?
