Re: Sgt Bjarne Aasberg 332 Squadron
Got msg via AAF.com about this earlier today, so I thought I should join this forum. Did not find Bjarne S. Aasberg (332 Squadron) in Phone Book doing nationwide search. The history about 132nd Norwegian Fighter Wing (by Helge Mehre) tells that the Wing continued to support 1st Canadian Army flying armed recce on April 16th 1945, a total of 111 sorties, target was mainly traffic on minor roads. 332 Squadron reported Sgt Bjarne S. Aasberg missing after an emergency landing south of Alkmal (guess it should be Alkmaar). He returned a few days later.
