All I can add is that one of the Fw 190's was chased by S/L Howitt with F/O Irving of 85 Sqd and shot down 12 to 15 miles south of Felixstowe at 2156 hrs The other was chased by F/L Houghton with F/O Patson of 85 Sqd. but lost due to searchlight interference, however a 190 crashed at Filey's farm at Hawstead near Bury St. Edmunds at 2145 hrs. There has been some speculation that this was Hpt. Geisler's aircraft,he was a former Transport pilot and holder of the RK before becomimg Kom. I/SKG 10 in March 1943 and flew over 300 missions,
