Nothing definite to suggest it's Russian Front... fuselage band could have been white and therefore anywhere over the Mediterranean.
I always thought this was a little too 'well-flown' to be in danger of crashing. I like the idea of a pilot showing off to the Kriegsmarine... nothing like a little dip of a wingtip into the water, eh...?
Also, there's no smoke (not that there needs to be) suggesting any obvious damage. Perhaps we will never know...
