Re: 371sr FG claims on 13 April 1945
Capt. William T. Bales, HdQts, claimed a Me 110 probable near Falkenstein.
LtCol. Sanders E. Delaney, 406 FS, claimed a Me 110 destroyed near Falkenstein.
Lt. Earl R. Frantz, 406 FS, claimed a Me 109 destroyed near Reichenbach
Lt. Lawrence A. Hess, 406 FS, claimed a Me 109 destroyed near Reichenbach.
All of the above were around the 1520 hours time frame. The 406 FS also destroyed or damaged a number of aircraft by strafing near Bayreuth if that helps any (I have the names and claims as well). The combat reports do exist for all of the 371st FG air claims, on a microfilm roll (CD nowadays) available from the Air Force Historical Research center at Maxwell Field, Alabama.
