Hello,
Two years later, I realize I have not written the result of the research by the administrator of the site
http://www.spurensuche-owl.de, who confirmed Wietersheim as the crash site and gave more details.
Here is how the entry now appears in my database:
On 24 April 1940 Uffz Bruno Schulz of Stab I.(J)/LG 2 was killed in a crash north of Minden during a ferry flight. Witnesses reported that he tried to fly under the power line across the Weser River between the hamlets Wietersheim and Todtenhausen, Stadt Petershagen, near the Graßhoff restaurant and the Wietersheim castle. His Bf 109 F-4 hit the line and then crashed in the river Weser at kilometer 210. The aircraft was a total loss.
Schulz is buried in Stansdorf, east of Postdam, probably brought there for burial by family. He was born on 3 May 1910 in Berlin-Schöneberg.
