Re: 1944 loss Bf 109 Wnr 20505 JG1

Hi all,

Attached the rather sketchy drawing. Just some translations of specific Dutch words:
wit = white
rood = red
zwart = black
geel = yellow

The possible tie up with a Bf 109 of 9./JG1 originates from the Kriegstagebuch Flughafenbereich Gilze-Rijen:
31.1.44 15.00 Uhr
Bauchlandung infolge Kraftstoffmangel einer Bf 109 bei Ressen, 6 km N Nijmegen. Flughalter (?) 9./III./JG1 Volkel. FF Uffz Helmuth Sainisch leicht verletzt. Bruchschaden 45%
(belly landing owing to fuel shortage of a Bf 109 near Ressen, 6 kilometres north of Nijmegen. Unit (?) 9./III./JG1 of Volkel. Pilot Uffz Helmuth Sainisch slightly injured. Damage 45%)

Note there is a small discrepancy between date and name.

Regards,
Hans
