The shell cases tell you two things

1. The plane they come from was fitted with 0.5 in guns
2. If the dates on the cases are all 43 or before then your plane crashed sometime in 43 or in the years afterwards

They do not tell you the squadron, they are not even definitive about what air force (apart from being Allied) the plane belonged to

If you find another casing with the same letters and date it does not mean the second aircraft came from the same squadron as the first, it just means the bullet came from the same factory in the same year. Given the expenditure of ammo by the air forces and armies they produced millions of rounds each year
