Franck, stubborness is ok (I'm one hugely affected by such "disease"), but not defying logic...! As I said elsewhere, although the angle of the photo doesn't allow to see clearly the area where the "quarter moon" curved panel was applied on the fuselage, that is simply not enough to discard its presence.

It was a lot easier and faster to apply a metal patch on the unused gun throughs, than to remove something that was aerodinamically needed by the smooth but bulged cowl which the plane had mounted as it had received a DB 605AS (the bigger lower radiator is another clear sign of this modification).

Each one of us is clearly entitled to his own opinions, but this case from the start seemed not worth to see something other than an AS-machine.
