My contact is an old Hungarian man, who has access to the internet, but cannot really navigate it. He works mostly from printed materials, including original documents.

Personally, I never tried to put together the Ju 87 production list, so I cannot comment your 'lack of German Aviation History 101' remark. I will not forward this note to him either.

As for the Hungarian export - a topic much closer to my field of interest - as far as I know the two Stukas actually delivered were officially called Ju 87 K 2, without any other additional suffix (while the sub-type intended to be manufactured under licence in Hungary was Ju 87 B-K). What would the additional 1 in the suffix mean?
