Guys, there is pretty substantial evidence in HW 5 that a number of AWG sets were actually fitted to Ju 88G-1s and G-6s during Sept.-Oct. 1944, and perhaps before and after this period. I don’t see any references to Bf 110s. I can't remember the date of the first notice of installation I saw, but the work was done at Langendiebach and installations probably began around mid-summer 1944. As of today, I've simply not gotten beyond the reports of mid-Sept 1944, so I don’t have any information about AWG 1 installations after this time.
During the period I've covered in HW 5, I would guess installations of at least a couple of dozen sets are mentioned. Nick, as a citation, you can check HW 5/597 - CX/MSS/R.330(A), p. 13, para. 29(1). This one message alone specifically records AWG 1 installations completed in five Ju 88G-1s and G-6s at Langendiebach in the period 18-23 Sept. 1944.
