Re: Unteroffizier Theodore Bienemanns.

BIENEMANN was not sent to England, he was released from hospital in the German advance.

4./KGr.zbV 103 Junkers Ju52/3m (2862). Crashed and burned out in Kyrresvei, Stabekk, shortly after take-off after off-loading troops of II./IR 324 at Oslo-Fornebu 11.30 a.m. FF Oberlt Karl Köder (Staffelkapitän) killed, FF Lt Friedrich Papke, and BM Uffz Ferdinand Brückner both missing, BF Uffz Theodor Bienemann captured, admitted to hospital in Bærum with broken right arm – later released. Aircraft 100% write-off.
Despite the recorded damage state, this airframe was received for repair at Kjeller airfield on 16 June and subsequently returned to service on 1 October 1940. It later operated with KGr.zbV 60 and III./TG3.
