I can add the following:

Wounded 23-24.4.45, shot down by 406 Sqn Mosquito (P/O Anaka & W/O Weber) on landing approach to Wittstock airfield

In the NJWD 2nd ed. I'll give more details. I would also be most interested in a photo of Hans Schmid!
