Excerpt from the EoE translation of the Heinrich Weiss manuscript for 11 July, which was a very complicated day of activities for the Germans:
"A He 111H of II./KG53 attacked the railway bridge at Bridlimgton with 2 SC250 and 5 SC50 bombs (explosions were seen within the target)."
This is probably the incident to which you were referring.
