Whern the aircraft was restored recently the main fuel tank cover skinning was replaced with metal, so I would expect the original skinning was metal as well.All of the other access panels you mention would appear to have been missing from the aircraft in 1960. Also, not sure which frame was the 12th, but the pictures taken in 1960 do not appear to have any taped seams on the fuselage (though there is a possibility between the fuselage and front of the fuselage "plug".) Remember that the aircraft by that time was pretty derelict. The only thing I would add is that there is no tail wheel doors on a Fw 190.I would second the recommendation that you get Eagle Files #2, "Yellow 10", by Jerry Crandall, an excellent book (though by no means totally exhaustive) on this interesting aircraft. Several other books also have detailed walkaround pictures of this aircraft, and LEMB has (or had) pictures taken during the restoration.Paul
