Re: Fw 190A-9 W.Nr. 206000

Hello Rémi!

No I have not found anything new on this plane, sadly.
I want to modell this plane some day and needs to know when it was produced so I can figure out how it was painted. All illustrations of this plane, (exept Kagero), shows it in RLM 74/75/76, and I don't believe that to be true.
Focke-Wulf started using Dark green (83 or what ever it was called) and 82 sometime in November 1944 or possibly earlier, Lt. Theo Nibels Fw 190D-9 W.Nr. 210079 is the first noted to have used two greens on the wings.
I don't think Focke-Wulf painted the A-9's different from the D-9's.

My problem is that I don't know when when Focke-Wulf built the different A-9 batches in relations to the D-9 batches, how much A-9 production overlapped D-9 production.
You said that 206000 arrived to KG(J) 27 at 20 March 1945, but was it newely built then?

If this plane was fairly new in March I guess it was painted in greens!
