Luftwaffe Claims 22 Oct 40
The only claims I can find for this day are 3 by Werner Mölders NW Maidstone 1540, 1541, 1542 hrs. However, the RAF lost 4 "to Bf 109s" (Milne of 605 Sqn 1435 hrs, St John of 74 Sqn at 1410 hrs, Fraser of 257 Sqn at 1630 hrs & Morrison of 46 Sqn at 1650 hrs) with a Spitfire of 74 Sqn apparently breaking up in combat and with a Hurricane of 605 Sqn damaged. Could Mölders have got the 605 & 74 Sqn aircraft as times match (as do RAF claims) but who got the others-2/JG 26, 7/JG 27 and 3/JG 51 were active that day?
