but "geplatzt" isn't an german equivalent for "disbanded" -- it's "aufgelöst". "burst" would an right word for "geplatzt" --- like an ballon but this doesn't make sense for an unit.

P.S.: If I read the document from Artie Bob then left the JG 2 the airfield in Eger and Marienbad (Protektorat ... now Cheb and Marianske Lazne) an was flown to Erding and from there to Holzkirchen and other airfields. The ground personal was "rolled over" (I don't know the correct Englisch word) on their trip from Eger to Erding near Cham. So the word "geplatzt" doesn't make sense.
