15 September 1940 2./JG27 Messerschmitt Bf109E-1 (6147). Engaged by Spitfires during escort sortie for KG76 attack on London and radiator damaged causing engine fire. Belly-landed near Lodge Wood, Homestead, Isfield, near Uckfield, 12.30 p.m. Possibly that claimed by Sgt D.G.S.R. Cox of No.19 Squadron. FF Uffz Andreas Walburger captured unhurt. Aircraft Black 5 + 100% write-off.

14 October 1940 Ergänzungsstaffel JG52 Messerschmitt Bf109E-1 (6117). Suffered engine failure during training flight and belly-landed near Grubbenvorst, north of Venlo. Pilot unhurt. Aircraft 10% damaged - repairable.
