As promised, here is a link to a thread showing scans of a Flugbuch I have in my collection that belonged to a man in 2. Staffel, Kampfgruppe 126 showing 'Roketenstart' being used on a Heinkel 111 in October 1940. It seems a very early date to me. http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/showthread.php?t=42933
