You are right, Andreas. I was replying to Byron's post of 13:03 without looking back to see what he was referring to. This Junkers most likely went down in the drink, but it could have gone down on land and the crew had not been located by the time the loss report was submitted. That's why the Gen.Qu.(6.Abt.) Verlustmeldungen have an addendum section at the top that provide corrections and changes to previous reports. Many of the members here who made these reports their primary interest have generally incorporated the addendum details into their loss data base. Since I am not in that category, there could be further information concerning this loss report, especially regarding the ultimate fate of the crew.
