Thanks for the reply; one of my secondary sources for 15.6.42 informed me that the loss concerned a 260 Sqn Kittyhawk piloted by a Sgt. Carlise.

Let me re-phrase the question then:

I have the following German claim for 15.6.42; which Allied loss could be matched to the claim:

Ofw. Hermann Sommer: 13 2./NJG2 P-40 over Mediterranean Sea 19.00
