Looking for pictures of G.50 of the 50° Stormo
Next july the Piacenza based 50° Stormo will disband for the fourth time in its history (1936-1941, 1942-1943, 1967-1973, 1989-2016).
I'm writing a book about this unit with two other fellow aviation historian. It will be illustrated with many unpublished pictures and it will contain some previously unpublished details about the history of the unit.
During the battle for Sicily in july 1943 some G.50bis of this Stormo were left in airport located in Sicily and South Italy and then inspected by Allied troops. Squadriglia numbbers were 236, 387, 388, 389, 390, 391.
I'm looking for pictures of these aircraft: perhaps some members of this forum has got some of them.
When published, they will be fully credited and I'll send a free copy of the book.
