I've found additional research showing Max Nairz was a POW in 1944, so chances are he survived the war "hopefully". Is there a place I can check to see if he is still alive?

Regarding Rolf Schulte, I've found that he was credited with 4 kills, although I've only located 3 so far. I suspect he didn't survive the war due to a lack of evidence past about Sept. 1943. I'd guess he might have been a replacement pilot attached to 9. Jg/53 and had little experience given the time location and other books I've read on the subject of the war at this time.

Can anyone expand on this information?
