according Alexander Steenbeck, 6 planes of II/KG26 and 2 of III/KG26 were lost on that date, shot down by Mosquitoes, while trying to attack a convoy on the east coast of Scotland. Langendorf's crew is listed in the losses of II/K.G.26.
