This is May 11, 1940 at t’Rooth, near Schinnen, Netherlands:

According to the EoE LW Loss List:

“MAY 11, 1940: 2.(F)/123 Dornier Do17P-1. Believed that attacked by No. 85 Squadron Hurricanes during reconnaissance sortie over Doenrade, 5km south-east of Sittard, and forced-landed at t’Rooth, near Schinnen, Neitherlands, at 1.00 p.m. BO Lt Heinz Brosch and FF Fw Hermann Layher both wounded, BF Fw [ ] Steiner believed unhurt. Aircraft 4U+HK 100% write-off.”

Matti may be able to provide the first name of Fw Steiner.
