By two "stages" I meant two speeds. Thanks for the correction and sloppy terminology from my side. No Squadron/Signals was ever consulted. I don't even have the La-5/7 one.
My impression of the Finnish squadron log books, mission reports etc. is that one hour was more or less the maximum combat mission endurance time for Bf 109.
