Gentlemen,

Friedrich Goebel and Peter Winkler were the only Luftwaffe pilots to be awarded the German Cross in Gold (DKiG) while serving with Minensuchgruppe 1. Both of them held the rank of oberfeldwebel. Have you got any good information about these two Luftwaffe pilots who flew Ju-52s fitted with large magnetic rings used for destroying sea mines? Like how many sea mines each of these two pilots destroyed. How many sorties each of them flew. The history of the Minensuchgruppe was little known and the successful pilots who flew these sea mine destroying missions remains to be told. As for who was the top scoring Luftwaffe pilot who had destroyed the most sea mines from the air during WWII was unknown. Help please.
