'Privatanschluss' was his telephone at his living quarters at the air field. I am not quite sure but I think that he was billeted in present day building 208/209 - by the Luftwaffe called building 2 and 3 right next to the officers mess. I have his title from a telephone list. And no, the telephone was not for private conversatins with his family. It means that it was his phone alone in his living quarters, which very few people had.
