According to Michael Holm's excellent site, the first four Bf 109 G-8 on inventory of 5.(F)/123 were delivered in September 1944. One of them was lost without enemy action, the precise location and date is not mentioned. Check here:

It is thus not impossible that we're looking at this very machine.
