Thanks for the info. I recently acquired items that belonged to one of the crew and became interested in learning what happened to the a/c at its end. Your info is welcomed. I found a MACR which was interesting since they technically were not missing. It indicated that the a/c had sustained battle damage and crashed killing all aboard and I assume it was attempting an emergency landing at Framlingham when it crashed. Did not know about the truck & waveoff. Do you know if any photos survive? Best regards, Bob
