Kommandeure in the west were Major Müller, then Maj. Robert Rohn (late 1944–accidentally shot by sentry in late March or early April 1945). The IA, Hptm. Gustav Weber took over (temporarily?), then Hptm. Denker.
Other officers who became casualties include: Obltn. Hans Kolb (1./NSG 2), Ltn. Wilhelm Hoch (Stab), Ltn. Wolfgang Schäfer (1.).
