It's said by Bundesarchiv file RL10/507, »Entwicklung der NSGr. 2«, a postwar recollection by the unit's Gustav Weber. I didn't note down the whole section in the original German but it says that Rohn was killed in mid-March »bei einer Flugplatzerkundung«, shot by an »H.J. Streife« (which could be either a patrol or an individual sentry).
Date and place of burial are given by the Deutsche Volksbund für Kriegsgräberfürsorge.
The bit about Rohn's service in NSG 9 is probably derived from my book on the unit. What I had about Rohn, I pieced together from various Bundesarchiv files, signatures on casualty reports and logbooks, aircrew memories and letters, plus reports on prisoner interrogations.
