about III/JG 53's Bf.109 E.without Hook Cross
Hello
On several photos,some in color,we can note the abscence of the Hook Cross (Hakenkreus) or the repainting of it on the rudder of III/JG 53's Bf.109 (in 1940) and in particular the 7/JG 53 (as the planes of Heinz Altendorf,Werner Stumpf,Friedrich-Karl Mùller,Hermann Neuhoff.... all of the 7/JG 53).
Someone has an explanation about this unusual practice and has my knowledge unique in its Kind.
