I believe that the first part of the number, is the unit code, e.g. 59745 = 15/JG 27, the second part, is the personal number of a member of that unit, so EM 59745/427 belonged to Gefr Franz Rehsler, 15/JG 27, lost 04.07.1944, Lasson, Calvados, I'm sure I will be corrected, if I am wrong!
