Good morning Stukapilot & Juha,
alright, let's assume he didn't score in the Finnish Winter War until someone provides a good proof for the opposite.
Another thought: his famous Yak-1B with a victory tally of "32" painted on its fuselage.
According to
Mellinger it was presented to him between late 1943 and May 1944.
According to this website
http://soviet-aces-1936-53.ru/abc/l/lugansky.htm
Luganskii's victory tally stood at 32 only in the time frame between 2Jun1944 and 6Jun1944.
May it be that the machine was given to him in May 1944 when his tally stood at 31 kills plus a possible unidentified (Winter War?) claim ?
Cheers,
Michael
