70 (signals) Wing was based at RAF Tealing near Dundee, Corp Grose was based at RAF Schoolhill which was a chain home radar station. Letters from the MOD suggest the accident was on 8th Sept, death certificate says 9th Sept.

It appears the American Airbase reference in various other sites is a bit of a red herring, as is the fact she is buried at Old Dyce Graveyard next to what was RAF Dyce but appears she didn't work there. It is possible she was billeted there as I don't believe there was accommodation at the Radar station.

Does anybody have any details on RAF Schoolhill or better still a layout map?
