11 September 1940 3./StG77 Junkers Ju 87B-2 (5739). Crashed at Courseulles-sur-Mer, 15 km north of Caen, following collision during formation practice 6.30 a.m. BF Gefr Walter Zedel killed, FF Uffz Georg Gschwendtner baled out badly injured - admitted to hospital in Asnelles. Aircraft S2+HL 100% write-off.

11 September 1940 3./StG77 Junkers Ju87B-2 (5630). Crashed at Courseulles-sur-Mer, 15 km north of Caen, following collision with Uffz Schwendtner during formation practice 6.30 a.m. Crew both baled out unhurt. Aircraft S2+FL 100% write-off.
