I attach an image of the data plate of my 1936 Bremen-built Fw44 Stieglitz Werk Nr 1904 which is nearing the end of a five year restoration. For interest, it was SE-BRZ and is now registered as D-EMNN, painted in the civilian scheme of the period and in deference to LBA regulations, the swastika is not used on the tail.
This project has prompted me to look in to the production of Fw44s built by Focke-Wulf Bremen and those licence built by other factories (AGO, Bücker, Flugzeugbau Halle, Hirtenberger Patronenfabrik (Austria), FMA (Argentina), AVN (Brazil).
I would be interested to know what the data plates for each other factory looked like. Attached is a CVV plate a Swedish-built Fw44 (SwAF Fv5787, later SE-BWR) and a CKD plate of W.Nr. 2778, D-EXWO.
