Thanks Marcel, I am looking at the claims by SLdr JB Shepherd for a Me163 towed by a Bf110 in April 1945. I assumed the Bf110 was a nightfighter but looking into deeper seems to indicate it was a Bf110 aircraft tug. I assumed the Bf110C-1/U-1 or Bf110C-2/U-1 were the most likely towing aircraft but reading some old forum post now know that there were G-types (g-2, g-4?)used later in the war. Were these fighters unarmed?
