Re: Unknown Mustang III crash (Netherlands)
Good evening
There is only one RAF Mustang reported as a loss in the time-frame November 18th - 25th 1944.
This is Mustang I, AG664, No. 430 (RCAF) Sqn., shot down by flak on November 19th, 1944: "crashed near Venlo, pilot baled out into enemy lines".
There is no entry in German KU/J-files for this incident.
