Ludwig König (9./KG 1, 14.(Eis) KG3 and 6.(K)/LG1 )
Hello all,
Recently I obtained the Wehrpass of Leutnant Ludwig König of 9./KG 1, 14.(Eis) KG3 and 6.(K)/LG1. I am looking for more information regarding his career.
König was born in Apolda on 5 April 1922 and served as pilot with
4./KG 1 from 07-02-1943 to 31-05-1943
13./KG 1 from 30-07-1943 to 13-11-1943
9./KG 1 from 14-11-1943 to 16-02-1944
14. (Eis)/KG3 from 17-02-1944 to 29-12-1944 (He actually attended LKS 9 during two months this time and the entries for battles he participated in end on 19-04-1944 and resume when he was with LG1)
6(K)/ LG 1 from 30-12-1944 till the end of the war.
Is anyone able to tell me more about the career of Leutnant König? Specific aircraft he flew, crews he flew with etc?
Any information would be greatly appreciated!
