Guys:

I was re-reading Shores & co's Air War in the Med & came across the story of RA Ace Giuseppe Pesola; he was shot down & taken prisoner but escaped & evaded capture for nearly a year (in Egypt, presumably?) It sounds like a fascinating story & I was wondering if he or somebody else wrote about this?
