Aircrewremembered is in error about Rickard

Ronald Arthur RICKARD RAFVR, was involved in the following incident in the Middle East:

9/10 March 1943
No.40 Sqn
Wellington Ic AD651 "D"
Op:Palermo.

Aircraft ran out of fuel and in trying to ditch crashed in a coastal palm grove, 15km from Homs. Sgt Sprately is buried in Tripoli War Cemetery.
