Koichiro Abe's Ta 152 article in "Scale Aviation" magazine.

Dear all,

The latest issue of Japanese bi-monthly magazine, "Scale Aviation" vol. 50 has just published in Japan.
The most observable content of this issue is the first part of a series article, "Luftwaffe's Ultimate Fighter Ta 152" by Koichiro Abe.

Almost 20 years ago, Koichro Abe had published the line drawings of Ta 152 H in Japanese "Replica" magazine and later, Trimaster developed the legendary 1/48 scale kit of Ta 152 H-1 of which based on his drawings.

This 6 pages of article is his comprehensive compilation of the Ta152 research during recent 2 decades and will include a lot of line drawings of every variants of Ta 152 (H-0/-1, C-1, B-1 and E-1) as well as a lot of unpublished fact around this attractive bird.

As the first part of this series article, the process to the development of Ta152 is explained.
The article also includes an accurate station diagram and wing construction chart of Ta 152 H-1, and the first ever published photos of produced H-1 and E-1 by Mimetall factory at Erfurt-Nord in the very late stage of the war (these photos are contributed from my private collection.).
You can see the photos of a group of short-spanned Ta 152s with Jumo 213 engine, which confirms the existence of E-1 recce variant for the first time.

The next issue will be published on 12th of August in Japan.

Hope you to enjoy this remarkable article,

Hideki Noro
