Re: Heinkel 111 shot down Yselstein 14.5.40
The Heinkel of 1./KG4 at IJsselsteijn was indeed shot down on May 13, not 14. It was participating in a raid on Dordrecht and hit by dutch anti-aircraft fire. It made a belly landing and after a short skirmish the crew was made prisoner by dutch police troops. I don't know their names or fate, but assume that they given the limited time for transporting them to England before the dutch surrender on May 15 they have been liberated by the german occupation troops.
