Looking in Barry Rosch's Bible, I notice he follows Gogh and says 2D was Flugbereitschaft/RLM Staaken.
Flugbereitschaft in its general sense only means 'ready to fly' but no doubt this was some kind of VIP unit as all other such units were in their basic form. It is interesting so see that Luftwaffe still use such a title for its VIP staffel.
I was intrigued by the unit designation used by Matti and I wonder what it stands for? Fl usually stood for Flieger/Flug and may stand for Flugbereitschaft here, but I find nothing that corresponds to Bm in Rosch's book. Sch has to be Schule. So, guessing wildly, could this be something to do with training personal to become pilots and crew of various VIP units?
Anyone?
Cheers
