Re: Please help with info about German BT (bomb-torpedoes) and TZA-2 (A&D)

What makes you think that III./KG 200 had any special Fw 190s?

Such loss records as there are mention F-8s. I don't know a single piece of evidence that the Gruppe ever even saw a BT weapon. True, they were assigned to the Scapa Flow operation (and at one time a suggested mission against a lock at Antwerp) and they were listed as "in training" at Stavanger but there is no detail of what they actually did in this (brief) period. They may never have received the planned equipment and it is even possible that they trained for the night ground attack role that they would carry out from late March/early April 1945.

Fw 190 F-8 WNr. 588043 was destroyed at Stavanger-Sola when a flare (Leuchtbombe) exploded during loading on to the aircraft (6 March 1945).

Without new evidence, I don't think we can rely on the "(BT)" suffix any more than the KG 200 organisation table at Freiburg that says Einhorn's role in Italy was "Schiffsbekämpfung" (anti-shipping).
