This would explain why Uffz Vincenz Giessübel of 2./KG 2 POW 15 May 1940 ends up on 2./NJG 2 but before you ask, his logbook starts 13 Nov 40! However, he returned to his unit 18 May 1940, EK 1 21 May 1940 then posted to 5./NJG 1 15 Aug 40 and this becomes 2./NJG 2 11 Nov 40. No mention of Nachtjagdkette
