Number of victories of Hptm. Werner Billig, KG3, NJG2 & 3?
Dear all,

According to the excellent Luftwaffe Officer Career Summaries by Henry L. de Zeng IV and Douglas G. Stankey, Hptm. Werner Billig achieved two Abschüsse in WWII. I can, however, only find one documented and confirmed victory for him, on 24/25.2.44. Did he perhaps achieve an Abschuss whilst serving as a Kampfflieger in KG3?
